Admission without consent to a psychiatric hospital constitutes a drastic interference with basic human rights in fact constitutes deprivation of liberty. This necessitates a strict interpretation of the provisions on such proceeding. Admission to a psychiatric hospital pursuant to Article 24 of the Mental Health Protection Act allows for the admission of a person with mental disorder to determine whether they are of the nature of the mental illness, but admission for the purpose determining whether the person being admitted suffers from mental disorder at all, is adimissible. The existance of these disorders is a condition for this admission.
